The patented “fixed speed infinitely variable flow” design feature of the Plenty Mirrlees Rotary Sliding Vane pump will be of great interest to users that require a pump that delivers a variable flow (zero to full design volumetric flow) without the need to install expensive Variable speed drives, this is made possible by use of an automatic actuator or manual handwheel to increase or decrease the eccentricity of the shaft to rotor mechanism. The design feature further facilitates reversal of the flow if required.
